A two-year, 2000-hour program for those interested in teaching Reiki.
First and Second-Degree Reiki Classes
First- and Second-Degree classes are taught from the traditional teachings of Usui Shiki Ryoho, The Usui System of Natural Healing and passed down from Dr. Mikao Usui (the man who rediscovered Reiki) through the teachings of Hawayo Takata (the woman who brought Reiki to the west) and from the initiating lineage of John Harvey Gray.
Reiki classes will be taught over a two eight-hour day classes which when completed will enable the student to transform themselves physically and emotionally through self-treatment. The classes will provide the ability for the student to treat others through hands-on Reiki treatments. Reiki practitioners transfer Reiki energy through their hands into the receiver and the Reiki healing energy stimulates cells and revitalizes the body which helps the receiver to heal physically, emotionally and spiritually. The unique quality of these teachings is that the practitioner does not take on or absorb the problems or the negative energies of the receiver.
Reiki
First Degree
Reiki 1 class: $350
In First Degree class, the student will be connected to our initiating lineage through a four-part oral history of Usui Shiki Ryoho told over the two days. Students will receive four attunements over the two-day class that allows the Reiki energy to flow through the student’s hands allowing them to heal themselves and others. There will be lots of hands-on practice learning specific hand positions to treat ourselves and others with Reiki more effectively. I go over basic anatomy, so students know what is below their hands during a Reiki treatment. I also go over the energy centers of the body (the Chakras) and how to use Reiki in emergency situations. Students receive First Degree Reiki certificates on completion of class.
First Degree class is two eight-hour day classes. (16 hours)
Reiki
Second Degree
Reiki 2 class: $650
Second Degree Reiki class is for students who have been practicing First Degree Reiki for 3 to 6 months on a regular (if not daily) basis and are interested in continuing to learn new skills and tools to apply to their Reiki practice and to be of loving service to others and themselves through Reiki.
Second Degree Reiki class is a two eight-hour day classes. Students will receive two attunements over the two days, learn new techniques and how to use ancient Reiki symbols to enhance their Reiki experience. There will also be lots of hands-on practice. In this class students will learn the techniques to be able to:
• Channel more energy during Reiki treatments.
• Use Reiki to help yourself and others to unblock old beliefs and emotions and to help with mental and emotional issues.
• Send Reiki Distance Treatments (sending Reiki through time and space) for those who are unable to receive hands on treatments.
• Enhance your Reiki skills with hands on practice with others.
Students receive a Second-Degree Reiki certificate on the completion of class.
Second Degree class is two eight-hour day classes. (16 hours)

For those interested in my teaching but are not available to come to San Francisco, I travel to teach. I’m available for retreats as well as for private groups
For those who are interested and are available to organize a Reiki class of 8 to 12 people, I can travel to you to teach both First or Second Degree Reiki classes.

(Hatsu Rei Ho) is a purifying meditation that Mikao Usui taught to his students to enable them to get closer to Reiki. This is a purifying practice that purifies obstacles and old belief patterns that we carry with us from this life and from past lives.

This class is designed to enhance the practitioner’s Reiki experience and enable a deeper Reiki experience for clients too.

Opening and closing spirals and scanning the chakras
A two-part, 7-hour day class
Opening and closing spirals
In this class, you will learn how to open a person’s chakras at the beginning of a Reiki treatment. This allows more Reiki energy to enter the chakra system adding healing and balance to the overall well-being of the client.
You will also learn to close the chakras after the Reiki treatment is complete. This seals in the reiki energy and allows the chakra system to hold the Reiki energy for a longer and deeper healing throughout the body.
Scanning the Chakras
In this part of the class, you will learn to scan the chakras and check for the overall energetic vitality of a person’s body. This allows the Reiki practitioner to know which parts of the client’s body may need more Reiki during a treatment.
You will also learn “Zinging,” this is another technique that allows the practitioner to diagnose weak or depleted areas of a client’s body before a Reiki treatment.
These techniques were passed down to me through my teachers from Reiki Master-John Harvey Grey. They have been diagnostic tools that have enhanced my own Reiki practice and have helped me to be of more useful service to my clients over the years of my practice and teaching.

Program Overview
A 6-month, 150-hour advanced training for Second-Degree Reiki students and Reiki Masters seeking to deepen their professional skills and clinical experience. Graduates are prepared for private practice, can participate with SFRC/NYCRC Reiki students, and are eligible to apply for the 2,000-hour Reiki Master Apprenticeship.
Program Includes:
• Hands-on Usui Shiki Ryoho training
• Clinical practice based on the John Harvey Gray lineage
• Professional development & mentorship
• Eligibility for Reiki Master apprenticeship hours
Monthly Commitment:
• Approx. 25 hours/month
• Class Sessions (6 hrs.) – One weekend day/month
• Supervised Group Discussions (2.5 hrs.) – One weeknight/month
• Hands-On Practice (100 hrs.) – 50 hrs. individual sessions, 50 hrs. group work
• Partner Exchanges & Observations – Includes 2 client observations, partnered treatments, and daily self-treatment
• Final Assessment – A full professional Reiki session observed by the instructor

• Must be a Second-Degree Reiki student or Reiki Master
• Commitment to daily self-treatment and active participation in events
• Small class size (max 6 students) or one-on-one option when available

Reiki Master Teacher Training
Reiki Master Teacher training is a 2-year, 2000-hour course for Reiki 2 practitioners who want to learn to teach Reiki.
In our lineage, we take great care and time with our Master Candidates to teach them how to carry on the teachings and tradition of the Usui System of Natural Healing and how to transmit this to other students effectively.
